Our Mission 

To do all that we can to facilitate a transformation from our current unsustainable and environmentally destructive economy to a sustainable model that promotes and enables a harmonious and better quality of life for all within a cleaner and healthier natural living environment.Without underestimating the task at hand and however cliche it may sound in today's increasingly environmentally aware corporate culture, 'Saving the Planet' as we know it and like it to be, really is the end goal of all of GSE's efforts and activities.  GSE is committed to doing its part in what has to be a collective effort on behalf of all the ‘stakeholders’ of our beautiful world; which includes every public and private sector organization, corporation, company, community and individual being living on our planet today.

The Problem

Since the Industrial revolution, human civilization has increasingly relied upon finite fuel deposits and natural resources as the means upon which an unsustainable global economic infrastructure has been built.  The global ecology, itself a sum of an almost infinite number of smaller ecological systems is out of balance.  Desecration of environmental systems of global climatic importance is threatening the future quality of human and organic life in general.Science is telling us that the energy imbalance of the planet is rising even faster than expected, and we are experiencing gradually increasing temperatures and increasingly frequent extreme weather events.A record number of animal, plant and marine species face extinction, and the natural resources upon which we rely for food and shelter are becoming irreparably damaged.  The unsustainable nature of the current system is further evident from the ever diminishing finite resources which fuel it.

The Solution 

The precarious environmental and ecological problems we face today must be addressed now.  There is little time for talk without action.  However an all encompassing remedial solution is not yet at hand.  Rather many efforts are being explored from the ground up and the top down with little consensus in-between on the best methods and practice to utilize in tackling the many facets of our current unsustainable living and business practices.

The challenge we face today is one of transition from the ‘old ways’ which have brought us to the precarious situation of where we are today to new ‘sustainable’ systems that provide for future generations and are in harmony with the earth’s natural ecological systems.Ending our over reliance and dependence on energy garnered from environmentally destructive finite resources through switching to clean forms of energy and more efficient use of this energy is fundamental to this change.

Doing our Part

It’s been called the challenge of our generation, and our generation is beginning to respond.  The origins of Global Sustainable Energy Inc, began in developing renewable energy, addressing one small part of the jigsaw.  As we have grown, we have seen both the challenge and the business opportunity presented by international efforts to address climate change and the need for sustainability.  We have learned from all that has happened, and set GSE on a path that is focused on a clear and certain opportunity centering on the transformation of our energy infrastructure. Our business strategy includes a number of streams, but all are focused on moving the world along the path to a sustainably fueled low-carbon and pollutant free economy.

GSE brings together the financial, engineering and environmental skills required to address the business of climate change mitigation and switch to sustainable technologies.It is both an opportunity and responsibility, and GSE is responding.
